Dreams

Hello everyone, I wanted to talk about dreams today, I know you all have a lot of dreams and I would love to hear from you about your dreams and you all want most out of life. I know for myself I didn't know what I wanted to be for the longest time, I was trying hard to figure out what I wanted to be, but I didn't know at first. My mother read a book called Just Who Will You Be? by Maria Shriver and from what I heard about the book, it is a really good book.

My mother told me about Maria Shriver's book, and the part that stuck with me was when my mother quoited Ms. Shriver's book saying, "When I grow up," my mother loved that part of the book and I loved it too. My mother said to me a few years ago, "when I grow up, I want to go to college," my mother smiled when she said that. Than one day my mother went to college and achieved her goal or rather her dream.

My mother told me her dream was to go to college, and she reached her dream. I was and still am inspired by my mother, she's my role model, she's a lovely person and I want to be just like her. My mother was also my home school teacher from grades 1 through 12. When I was younger my mother put a love of reading and writing in my heart and the funny part about this is that I hated reading and writing, I thought it was the enemy and I couldn't stand it.

I thought reading and writing was a complete waste of time, until one day my mother brought home some mystery novels with a touch of horror and I was hooked ever since :) After a while when I got older, I started reading other genres and that was when I found Twilight by Stephenie Meyer, I was really enthralled with her book and I couldn't wait to read part two of her book series. Stephenie's book series inspired me to start writing, but it was nothing long at first, it was really short :)

Actually, at first, all I could write was the endings of my stories and that was it :) My mother would encourage me to write more, I would read my endings to my mother and she said with a smile, "If we could just get a beginning and a middle, then your ready to go," my mother would laugh when she said this and I would too, that's me, I sometimes do things backwards :) LOL. But anyway, I kept writing and writing and as I wrote, I had no idea I was writing Eden's story.

I started writing her story back in 2006 or 07. At first Eden started out as a drawing, I love to draw, drawing helps me to relax and chill, and drawing also inspires a lot of my characters I write about. But anyway, Eden started out as a drawing, Eden was a young woman with sad eyes, and the way I drew her told me she was a story in the making, but I didn't know where to go with her untold story.

Than one day I watched a movie called One Night With The King, I think it came out in 2006, that was the movie that inspired Eden's story, I really love that movie. So I started to draw Eden's character more I wanted her to have a love interest, but every time I drew a man to go with her none would fit, so I was momentarily lost. For the longest time Eden didn't have a love interest, so I took a break and started to write her story, I didn't really get serious writing her story until 2009.

I was writing fast, I had so many ideas, than in late 2009, I hit a writers block and I had no more ideas for her. I was so lost, but I thought, oh well, than I stopped writing, of course back than I didn't know I wanted to be a writer, I was just writing to relieve stress and relax. I stopped writing about Eden for a long time, but I tried other ideas, but none seem to work, so I took break even though I continued to daydream about Eden and how her story would unfold.

I still wrote about other stories, and the funny part was the other stories I was writing about was really Eden's story and I didn't know it at the time. Four years later, which was in December 2013, I decided I wanted to be a writer, this was my dream and I wanted to pursue it, so back in December 2013 I officially started writing Eden's Secrets, finally giving the book a name, for fours Eden's book didn't have a name. As I wrote about her story, I finally found Eden's love interest, my mother helped me with his name, she told me to call him Alexander, I was so excited, so I drew his character, and after I drew his character, I knew how I wanted him to be, a kind, caring man that looks out for Eden, a shoulder she could cry on and give her heart too without him ever hurting her. Alexander was easier to develop than Eden, it took me years to figure out how I wanted Eden's personality, but it finally came in December 2013. Well, this is my dream and I finally found out what I wanted to be, I want to be a writer, so I started writing and I hope you enjoy my dream written in my book Eden's Secrets, I would love to hear your dreams, so please tell me your dreams :) My mother told me whatever you dream about, dream big, everything starts out as a dream, one day our dreams will come true.
